Plenty to pick and choose from in this trope, BUT, I am thinking Catherine remembered just enough detail that someone here might be able to pinpoint which one. *spoiler alert* *spoiler alert* *spoiler alert* *spoiler alert* The guy rescues her when he over hears her stepdad is going to sell her virginity. “Despite his frozen heart and my readiness to run, we sometimes shared seconds.
There were two young men that were in love with the main character. Tiffany: I think it’s by Madeline Sheehan who wrote Undeniable Gena: Sounds like book 1 (The Soul Mate: Holy Trinity Trilogy (The Holy Trinity) (Volume 1) in The Soulmate Trilogy by Madeline Sheehan. I remember I loved the book I wanted to see what else the author wrote. Every time I go in for treatment I wear one of the kids’ socks. I have read many more of her books over the years since, but her new book, UNLOVED, has to be the very best book she has ever written. It is at the top of my list of THE BEST READS OF 2017. Since I like most every book she has written, I couldn’t wait to read the 1st book.
Christina: I think it’s Unbreak My Heart (Fostering Love) by Nicole Jacquelyn. ) and now I just noticed a few that are totally new-to-me but that sound great! And although many books sounded fantastic and many of my friends were buddy reading and gushing over them, I either couldn’t bring myself to pick up my Kindle and get started, or my concentration was so bad that I just couldn’t get into them, even though I wanted so badly to achieve the escape that can be found in a book.
Thank you for your awesome memory, Christina!!!!!!!! So with all of the activity and the stress, I ended up falling into the biggest reading slump(s) I’ve ever been in, totaling about 6 months of my precious reading year.
